Boogie Down with Mommy!

Here I am with Mommy cutting a little rug. We're awesome.

Zoo Trip Part 2

Here are some more pics we got from our trip today, when we had a chance to take pictures without OTHER PEOPLE getting in the way. I was communicating with that primate at the top, because I know what a monkey says. I was calling out to it, "Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh," but it was too busy munching its fruit to talk. I'm sure he's seen plenty of other little monkeys like me.

1st Trip to THE ZOO

Today Mommy, Daddy, and I went to the Zoo! My first trip ever. There were tons of animals, or so we think. Most of them were sleeping like that big polar bear since it was such a nice day, or way at the back of their habitats, but there were plenty of people there, and thousands of other strollers. Our slogan for the day became: "Um...no bears."

Pink Lady

Yeah, so I was trying to stay all cool in my new pink sweats, but Daddy finally got me to crack a smile.

Shoes!

I like shoes. Wherever you put them, I will find them and put them on my hands!

The Bailey Sprout

Mommy finally realized that my hairstyle is the awesome-est and started copying it last week. We both looked super cute!

Daddy and Me on the Couch

Okay, so I was sitting there all cute with Daddy on the couch, then I got all squirmy before Mommy could get the camera to snap these pictures. I'm always one step ahead of them...

Our Barbecue

Last Saturday, Mommy and Daddy had some people over for a Barbecue. The Enderbys, Coffees, Uncle Rhett and A, and even my Favorite Aunt Avery was there. The Weeks's couldn't make it 'cause Jackson was cutting teeth and was running a fever. So, there were only two members of Three Amigos present, William and myself.

One, Two, Three, CATORCE!!!!

In case you don't know, "catorce" is how you say 14 in Spanish. It's from a U2 song, or so Daddy says. So, yeah, I'm "catorce" months old! Go Me! So here I am playing with a bowl and spoon, and using the bowl for a helmet, and just plain being my cute little catorce self.

And here I am practicing one of my new phrases: Uh, Oh!

DOGGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Rhett, and Aunt Avery (who had been staying with us to babysit me, since my daycare had a family emergency), and I went to Grandma Lynnette's house for a visit (and to bring Aunt Avery home). Uncle Rhett and Daddy helped Grandma prepare a delicious meal, and Mommy and I got to play with all the cute little puppies that Grandma raises!! They were very excited to see me, and some of them jumped up on me, all at once, which was a bit scary. It's a good thing they are small like me.

Backpacking

So, Daddy put this toy backpack on me one day, and I was like, "what is this thing doing on my back?" But then I went with it, and it was pretty cool.

Saturday, September 13, 2008

Check out my dribbling skills with a soccer ball! In a dress no less. Hey, that rhymed! Just like my Dr. Seuss books.

SWINGING!!!!!!!!!

Let me just say, I LOVE TO SWING!!!! It is up there with being outside, my kitties, blankys, hugs, kisses, and my morning bottle. I love it so much, I have to be forcibly removed against my will as I protest with shrieks of rage and wails of despair. It isn't pretty when swing time is over. But while it is time to swing, I'm having the time of my life.

Turkeys???

Last week, Daddy and I went outside to play in the back yard, and there were these weird birds running around out there! We don't know what they were, but they looked like little baby turkeys? pheasants?? peacocks?? guinea hens??? They were kinda neat and stayed away from us mostly, until Daddy began to imitate their calls with his crazy animal-sound-copying-skills...just view the video. I have a feeling that Daddy just might embarrass me to death when I'm a teenager!

Jesse's Open House

Last Saturday, Mommy's friend from work Angel (my adopted aunt)'s son Jesse had an open house to celebrate his graduation from college, so Mommy, Daddy, and I got to hang out at Aunt Angel's house and show people how cute I am. It is a full time job.

Dinner at the Weeks's

Last night, the Weeks's had the Coffee's, the Enderby's, and us over for dinner. At least that is what we used as a cover story for another secret club meeting of the Three Amigos!
