Mommy Rides!

My mommy is an expert at finding new and exciting ways for me to have fun. Here I am taking a turn about the house on my trusty steed: Mommy!

Outside for a Change

Well, we finally got a day where the rain WASN'T falling, so Daddy and I took our chance to head outside on a semi-warm afternoon. I enjoy bouncing and throwing my ball around in the back yard these days. It is also fun to kick it.

Grandma Lynnette

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy went to a show called "Wicked" in Portland. So, Grandma Lynnette came to stay with me! We had so much fun together. I was a little shy at first, but after a short little while, Grandma and I were busy playing and having a good old time.

Bubbles at the Dance

At the Family Dance, I met some nice bigger girls who blew some bubbles for me to play with. We had lots of fun, even though they were like twice my size.

Family Dance!

A couple of Fridays ago, Daddy's school put on a Family Dance. The theme was Luau, so everyone got a poofy Hawaiian necklace, and there were lots of tropical decorations and beach balls! I had all kinds of fun running around after the beach balls, and hanging out with some of the older kids that go to Daddy's school.

The Big 2-0

That's right folks! I'm 20 (months old, that is). Pretty nifty, eh? I decided to celebrate by showing off some of the cute faces I've been making lately. Daddy can't figure out where I learned to make strange, funny faces.

THE NIRTSHIGHT STRIKES BACK!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, just when you thought it was safe to unwind in your living rooms and let your guard down...tales of another frightening encounter with the infamous NIRTSHIGHT surface to remind us all that no one is safe! Look at the detail captured in this rare image found in the camera of one of our staff photographers! Despite the questionable authenticity, and the fact that the photographer has no memory of the event, tell-tale signs of Nirtshight exposure are clearly apparent. Notice the blurry nature of the being, who either does not take solid form, or moves at a rate beyond or paltry human capacity to observe, depending on the theory, or schools of thought regarding the being you follow. But look at the almost mirthful expression on the creature's face. The apparent awareness of the cameraman. The unwavering, practically maniacal grimace of joy as it apparently unleashes its hypnotic ability to stun the photographer with pure cuteness!! THE HORROR. Lock your windows. Bolt your doors. Sleep with the lights on. Beware the Nirtshight!!

Bailey Marathon Minute

Okay, I was feeling my oats yesterday, so I decided to do a little running. Okay, a lot of running. Even before Daddy got the cameral rolling, I had done like six laps around the house in my cute little pony-tail. Pretty impressive, right? MARATHON GIRL!!!

Blogging with Daddy

Here are some pictures of Daddy and me working on my blog earlier this month. We're both in our PJs 'cause it's the weekend. And 'cause PJs are awesome.

The Bliss Legacy Chair

I'm finally big enough to sit in Mommy's and Pappa Ed's old highchair. It'll be a great place to take a snack, work on my coloring, or practice my Nirtshight-like speed of motion. Faster than a digital camera shutter speed, she fans her hands and kicks her feet, blurring the fabric of reality itself!

Go Diego Go!

So, I've been doing some television watching lately, and I have a few favorite shows: Dora the Explorer, Micky Mouse Clubhouse, and Go Diego Go! Here I am watching the theme song to Diego, and Daddy was trying to capture me doing my "Go! Go!" Dance that I usually do when I see it come on, but this time, I just stood there captivated by the awesomeness of Diego.

Too Cool For School

I've been really in to wearing my sunglasses around the house lately. I think they make me look pretty cool, and cute to boot!

Hair Spike?

Okay, no seriously, Daddy made my hair into this HUGE spike! It was like a foot tall, and it stood on its own. Until Mommy got the camera, of course. Then it just wanted to fall over on my head. But trust me, it was pretty awesome.

Mall Play Area

Mommy and Daddy sometimes take me to the mall, where there is this cool play area for kids. I like to play on all the soft toys they have there, like this car. Sometimes there are lots of kids there, but other times, I get to choose what I play on and don't have to take turns.

Peacocks!!

During our Christmas visit to Pappa's house, I got to see all the beautiful peacocks that run around outside! They were everywhere. Some of them were walking around with their feathers all poofie, but mostly they were just looking for a snack. When Pappa went out with some bread, they came a-running!

Pappa's Computer Chair

I was pretty excited about sitting in Pappa Tom's computer chair. It reminded me of the one at Great Grandma Eve's house at the lake. I like to spin around in chairs like this. And I don't like to have to get out of them, as you can see from my behavior when daddy took me out and tried to make me walk when I was dizzy in the video.

Christmas once again!

This year it was a challenge for us to get a Christmas visit arranged with Pappa Tom because of weather, and illness, and being busy. But we finally did two weekends ago! Mommy and Daddy finally got Pappa his gift from them, and Uncle Rhett and A, and my Favorite Aunt Avery and Uncle Jared. They all pitched in to get Pappa a new digital camera, so he could take more and better pictures of me...I mean us. Pappa also had lots of gifts for Mommy, Daddy, and me! Merry Christmas once again!
