Meeting Uncle Rhett and Great Aunt Karen

I got to meet some more cool people today. My Uncle Rhett came by with my second cousin Lacey, down from Spokane. And I also got to meet my Great Aunt Karen, Grandma Bliss's sister. I spent most of the morning hanging out in the arms of some of my newest fans. Great Aunt Karen brought me some more cute little outfits, and Uncle Rhett brought Mommy and Daddy his copy of Harry Potter 7 so they could have something to do when I'm sleeping.

To the Doctor we go!

Today I got to go to the doctor for the very first time. Mommy put me in a cute little outfit, strapped me into the car seat, and off we all went to Evergreen Pediatrics. I was a perfect little angel, sleeping the whole time, and aside from a small incident where Daddy caught some of my "output" in his hand after I was weighed, it was a great checkup. I have already grown! I've gained back all my birth weight PLUS five ounces! And I'm a whole quarter of an inch longer. After the doctor, Daddy tossed me in Grandma Lynnette's handmade sling and we went shopping at Office Depot, and Target. Again, I was a perfect little angel, just asleep in my sling.

Here are some cute pictures of me with the folks. And I got a special treat the other night: my first story time. Daddy read me the Tale of Peter Rabbit from a book given to me by a nice lady he works with named Susan Paynter.

Many Visitors

Over the past few days, I have had lots of visitors. First, Great Grandma Eve came by with Great Aunt Kathy, and my second cousins, Hannah, and Morgan. Then, some of Mommy and Daddy's good friends Brian and Brooke Weeks came, with another of my potential future boyfriends, Jackson (who is still in Brooke's tummy). And Justin and Heather also came by at the same time. Everyone took turns holding me, even Justin, who doesn't really like to hold real small people like me. Then, yesterday, Mommy's friend Lisa came by with her boyfriend Adam. Lisa held me and fed me, while Adam played with Artemis.

My Stroller

A few days ago, Mommy and Daddy broke out my new stroller, a present from Mommy's Great Aunt Audrey, cousin Kali, and Grandma Bliss's cousins Barb and Ann. They strapped me in and we went on a stroll all the way to the mailbox! The world is so big!

Hanging in my crib

Here I am today, napping in my crib with all the nice things that many people brought me. My crib has a jungle theme, which daddy thinks is perfect because he says I am the princess of the monkeys. I feel a little spoiled by all the wonderful gifts everyone has given me. Thank you all very much!!

Meeting Great Grandma Bachman!

Today I got to meet a very special person: my daddy's mommy's mommy, Great Grandma Eve Bachman! Daddy tells me that is where the "Eve" in my name came from. She was really nice, and very happy to see me. She even finished feeding me my supper tonight. I like her a lot, and I get to see her again tomorrow! Hooray!!

The Sling and Comb

Here are some pictures of me in my new sling, made by Grandma Lynnette. My crazy daddy thinks he is some kind of model, he's funny. Yep that is me in there. It works great. And the next one down makes me look a bit smashed, but I'm not. It is just the angle of the camera Daddy had to use to even see me in there. Mommy broke out a comb to fix my hair after my bath last night. And then there I am waking up from a snooze in my cradle.

First Bath! Yeah!!

Today was pretty exciting, and I guess it should be, since I am a week old today. Wow! I got my first bath at home. I like my new bathtub; it has a cool hammock for newborns like me in it, and I can use it even when I am a toddler, whatever that is. Anyway, after I got good and clean, daddy thought he might have seen some red in my hair, which I'm sure will make my favorite Aunt Avery happy.

More Fans!

The Enderbys came by today also! Daddy's friend Will from high school, and his wife Patty, and their daughter Amanda, and a possible future boyfriend of mine, William. They brought me some receiving blankets and a pack of sleepers. They also enjoyed playing with my kitty Artemis.

Food and Fun

Great Aunt Kathy Bachman dropped by today to see me. She's fun. And she brought my mommy and daddy some more tasty dinners. They really liked that. Taco salad AND Lasagna! If only I ate solid food...

Meeting Grandpa Anderson

Yesterday, I got to meet my daddy's daddy, Grandpa Anderson. He brought me a whole bunch of cool feathers from the peacocks around Maryhill Museum, where he takes care of the grounds and stuff. He also brought me a pretty peacock puppet, and a nice, soft, farm animal blanket from his sister, my Great Aunt Kathy. Everyone has given me such nice gifts. Also, my favorite Aunt Avery was there again, actually she stayed the night, and took lots more pictures and held me until I fell asleep. I think she likes me.
