First Day Drop Off and Pick Up!

So, when you go to Preschool, there's this big line of cars that pull up to the school, then the teacher comes out and unbuckles you and takes you inside. When it's time to go, there's another line of cars, and one by one the teacher matches the right kid up to the right car. I did great! No fuss, no muss, no tears on my part. I think it might have been scarier for Mommy and Daddy.
First Day of School!
Fair!
Parade!

Once again, this Labor Day weekend, Mommy, Daddy, and I went up to Ellensburg for the goings-on there. First thing Saturday morning, we took our places for the parade. Last year it was pouring down rain, and just about as miserable as you could want, but this year it was only just a little windy. Plus, they had some popcorn for sale and Grandma bought me a bag. I was pretty happy about the whole situation. Only the firetrucks were a little loud.
Wine and Jazz Weekend

A couple of weekends ago, Grandma and Grandpa and Great Aunt Karen came down for the Wine and Jazz festival here in Vancouver. In between wining and jazzing, we all had a chance to hang out together. Before the festival, we went to the Farmer's Market, where Grandpa bought this awesome balloon Cinderella that the balloon man (here Daddy wants me to write something about goat-footed, and far and wee, but I don't understand the reference so I won't) made for me! How cool!! By the way, check out my awesome pigtails.
Badger Lake

This August, Mommy, Daddy, and I had a chance to get up to Badger Lake. We actually had some decent weather for a change. And, lucky me, my cousin Kylie was there. She is Daddy's cousin Nathan's daughter, and about my age, so the two of us had all kinds of fun together. I didn't get in the lake this year, but I sure went for a kayak ride with Daddy again! Great Grandma Eve had a birthday present for me, and guess what it was? Little plates and cookware just like Mommy and Daddy's! What a great time.
