Me and Uncle Rhett

Here is another cute picture of me from Race For The Cure. And then we have Uncle Rhett's first day of college in the middle, that was this Monday the 24th. And the last one here is Uncle Rhett all decked out in his chef's clothes, and wielding a scary knife.

Race For The Cure

Well, here we are during the race. We met Great Aunt Kathy, a survivor, Great Uncle Lance, cousins Katie and Hannah, and the rest of their team, and we walked with all the other people in pink and white. Mommy and Daddy took turns pushing me in my stroller, while I slept through the entire race. I only woke up at the end when we were walking around the booths afterward.

Getting Pink!

On Sunday, the 23rd, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Rhett, and I got all ready for Race for the Cure. I got to dress up in more pink than I have ever worn at one time in my life! Then we stood in line for the bus to Portland at the mall.

Discovering My Fingers

Lately, I've been playing with my hands a lot more. Here I am using my fingers as a binkies.

Baby Pincushion

Yesterday, I had my two month appointment with the doctor. In this first picture, I am swallowing some baby Tylenol beforehand. Then I'm stretched out on the doctor's table for my exam in the second, and the third shows my new stats. If you can't read it, it says I'm now 21 3/4 inches long, and 10lbs 11 oz. So, I guess Daddy was a little off in his estimation of my weight a few weeks ago. Anyway, after that it stopped being fun and the mean old nurse came in and gave me an oral inoculation, and three injections: two in one thigh and one in the other. Let's just say I was not happy about that.

Two Months Old!

Well, this is me today, September the 15th, my "two-monthiversry." I am beginning to gain control of my arms, and I like to bat my dangling toys around and clutch my bottles, binkys, and people's hands that hold me. I tend to wake up happy in the morning or from my naps, and I love to smile and coo at Mommy and Daddy when I wake. I've been sleeping about six hours per night, and I am starting to fit into my 0-3 month clothes and grow out of my newborn things. Life is pretty good so far!

Sleepy Head

Here I am getting sleepy. Then sleepier. Then sleeping in my traditional "victory pose" position.

Fun with Daddy!

Here I am having loads of fun with my cool daddy. He likes to make me laugh, and he is teaching me a new "booty dance" where my feet are on the ground. Stay tuned for that video. Uncle Rhett felt that there weren't many pictures of Daddy on my blog, so he helped take these.

Yay, 6 hours!!!!!

Hooray! I can now sleep up to 6 hours a night. Mommy and Daddy are so happy with me. I am also having a bit of a growth spurt. I like to wake up at about 4 in the morning now, and on Friday, I decided to stay up from my first breakfast until Daddy had to get ready for work. I think I might be morning person. This morning (Saturday) I was up and ready to play around five thirty, and it took me a while to get Mommy and Daddy awake. They couldn't be grumpy at me though, because I start smiling whenever one of them comes to pick me up. They're like putty in my hands.

Labor Day Weekend!

Wow! What a weekend. I got to see Grandma Lynnette and my favorite Aunt Avery again on Friday. We went to the Olive Garden where Daddy and Uncle Rhett gobbled up lots of pasta, and I slept in my car seat like a little angel. Then on Sunday, I got to see Grandpa Anderson. He held me and we played, then he went to the movies with Daddy and Uncle Rhett.
